IWD2 Mac Conversion?

    Has anyone ever done or considered doing a OSX version of IWD2?

    [​IMG] have you tried installing it yet? if it isn't compatible, you could try running it in the WinE emulator...

    Um...I have a mac and to my knowledge IWD2 was only released on PC.

    IWD2 is old enough that people are probably giving away used PCs capable of running it.

    It is possible someone will pick up converting it. Rome: Total War is being ported to the Mac as far as I know, and it has been around for a few years.

    However, since a mac version of it wasn't made available within the first few years of its sale for PCs that isn't a hopeful sign for D&D related games.

    If those were going to be ported to a make at all it generally seemed likely to happen shortly after the PC release. I have a Mac too so I feel your pain when a decent game isn't ported over.

    I rather wouldn't out of the fear that it would both complicate my life and leave me more vulnerable to viruses.

    Windows can be run on many makes these days but I (and a good number of other mac users) don't really want to use it.
