I'm playing IWD on windows 7 and there is like no music at all. Some plays on the main menu and there is some in Kuldahar, but I never hear any music in dungeons or in battles, just ambient sounds and footsteps and stuff. Anyone ideas what's up with that? Is there battle music in this game? Or does the music just play at the start of new dungeons for a minute or something. thanks.

[IMG] Not all areas have music. If there was no music at all then you wouldn't hear it on the main menu or in kuldahar.

ok. I remember the music in Baldur's Gate being almost constant. That's the only reason it struck me as funny that there was no music sometimes. In BG as soon as the battle music was over, the regular music started again... And the battle music repeated a lot. I guess the music got a bit repetitive, but it was still awesome music. I like the music in IWD, but it definitely is more atmospheric. I'll have to get the soundtrack if I want more.

[IMG] Yeah, I played BG1 and 2 before IWD but in a way it makes the music that bit more memorable and adds a certain depth, I found.

My favourite music is probably the battle music from the valley of shadows though Easthaven and Kuldahar had lovely tunes as well, very nice memories, I certainly reccomend getting a hold of the music if you can.

If you become a Sorcerer's Place Supporter there's a downloads section which has some bits and pieces which are bigger than the other downloads on the site but include demos and soundtracks for the games if you're interested in them. Couple of fun ones for BG2 as well :)

Hey 8, where can I find the IWD music? I spent about 10 minutes looking at the front page and didn't see a download section, and don't see any music in the pages for the games covered here either. I'd appreciate it if you (or any other SPS Account Holder) could PM the information, as I'm clearly too dense to locate it on my own.

[IMG] Have you checked the SPS private forum for information? There's a sticky there.

Had I thought to do that, I would not have needed to bug you, as it was posted there plain as day.

    Thanks for the help.
