Does anyone know how to get past the door?

Im right there but it wont let me pass through. I tried casting the KNOCK spell and it just said it wards off simple spells etc.

Is it part of a quest that Im not aware of?

It's not really a quest per se, but a key is required. It's in a different place, but it will be clearly labeled as 'Sewer Key.' I won't spoil it unless you want it spoiled.

I use the tables outside the Copper Coronet to store equipment - there's much less walking involved.
You also have two tables for categorising stuff:
    - neat stuff I want to keep
    - junky stuff I probably won't need, but better keep just in case

I guess you usually stay at the Copper Coronet to sleep. I usually am at the hotel in the Promenade.

When I first started the game, I always thought that if I kept my items in the boxes I find outside in the Promenade and in the Slums District, that they would get stolen! Because this is a very intelligent game, so I just thought I would do things that I would do in real life, like don't keep your good stuff outside! LOL!

But if nothing gets stolen, then I guess I've found more spots to hide my goods! :D
