    Since I just start with OC, it will be hard for me alone. Everyone please chime in, okay!

    First group of workbenches: 3, Fort Locke.
    --------Good for basic crafting, since the shops dont have much in the way of materials, and none of gems. 2 Storing chest nearby.

    Second group: 3, Sunken Flagon bar/inn, Dock District, Neverwinter City.
    ---------Go out to the three shops in the same district with plenty of goods. No storage nearby, though. Enough duskwood for a best basic weapon, Duskwood Longbow (mighty+6)

    Third location: Alchemist's bench only, Sand's shop in Dock district, Neverwinter. No chest.

    Fifth group: 3, Crossroad Keep. Your base of operation from middle game with shops nearby.

    Sixth group: Alchemist's Workbench, Eyegouger clan

    These seem to be rare in existence, which is good in a way and irritating in another.

    All in all it seem best to ignore item crafting altogether until we get the Keep... middle game... too long.

    Holy weapons are only caster level 7, and I think Sand sells the diamond you need for it. Picking up a greatsword +2 and giving it Holy and Acid (level 10, and you pick up emeralds early which aren't useful for anything else) makes Khelgar a powerhouse. There's enough diamonds in the game where you don't need to save it 'till 15 for his end-game Holy Adamantine Greatsword +5.

    But yeah, other than giving your heavy melee hitters a little more punch, there really isn't much use (or materials) for crafting until you can make the +8 gear.

    It helps a lot depending on your party's weapon proficiencies. Cold Iron/Alchemical Silver +0 weapons can be invaluable early game, especially to non-mace/two-handed axe users. Makes killing undead and succubi easier.

    Do succubi have innate DR or is it that they cast stoneskin?
