Original Saga Ending

    I finally defeated Sarevok today. I saw the movie, (it looks like he literally goes to hell?) and it said it was exporting my character and creating a final save.

    I want to continue with the areas from TOTSC. However, I don't see how to do it. When I load the Final Save it takes me to Sarevok's lair, as if I hadn't fought him. (He is there in the shadows waiting for me.) My experience is no different than before I defeated him.

    I tried searching the forums, but didn't really find an appropriate topic.

    Thanks for any help.

    hmm, if you installed it after you beat Sarevok, then it should've come up after you beat him, but if you installed it before you beat Sarevok, then you missed out on TOTSC. However, you can easily go back to your last save file and go to Ulgoth's Beard. All you have to do to get there is go to the map where you met Tanya, the child priestess and go north. You'll come across a farm where you have to kill 20 zombies and go north again. Voila, Ulgoth's Beard.

    i found out that u have to play TOTSC before u actually kill sarevok , cuz the storyline don't continue into TOTSC, there's just has couple of new areas on the add on, thats it...

    Well.. This part (Baldur's Gate) ends with Sarevok being put in his grave..

    But before that you have (would be boring without) to explore the areas, and the TotSC exp. adds a few new missions and areas to the original game (take the Expansion Save or alike to begin the exp.)

    So if I understand everyone, in the 3-disc Original Saga, I have to play the areas added by TOTSC before defeating Sarevok? I guess it's not that big a deal, but I thought in the older versions of the game you would first play Baldur's Gate proper, and then add on TOTSC and play those areas after you defeated Sarevok.

    There have been a dozen topics on this. The game's bugged in this regard. After the final battle it's supposed to teleport you to Ulgoth's Beard if you have ToSC installed (and haven't played any of its areas before), but it never does. You just get dropped outside the temple in the Undercity again, and have to backtrack out through the puzzle. That's the only way. Then continue north to the zombie farm area and to Ulgoth's Beard.

    BTW, the chat that jumps to the next chapter works in chpter 7 too and takes you to 8th. The Problem is that my comp never managed to play bg videos(they all crashed the game in a few seconds), so i don't know, what will appear after Sarevok turns into red lights... Could somebody possibly tell me?
