    1. What do I do with the Illithid Correspondence (Illithid lair in the sewers)
    2. the empty potion bottles (guarded compound in the temple dist.)

    Well, thats a kick in the teeth! I kept them in my bag of holding for the whole game, thinking they would have some purpose. :( :rolling:

    [​IMG] wait, wait, wait - didn't I read somewhere here that those empty potion bottles are to scoop up some holy water someplace and use it on Bodhi or somesuch? I KNOW I'm not imagining things - I've been carrying the darned things around based on that vague recollection... :confused:

    In SoA there is no use for empty bottles.
    Holy Water is gained automatically, you don't have to posess empty bottles.

    The point of having them is not clear to me. I still carry them and all those things that are unuseable in SoA (Mekrath's Mirror for example).
    I advise you to search in ToB forum if there is any useability for those in ToB. I don't have ToB installed so I can't check it myself, right? But I will, I will ;)

    ARRG! So whats the point in having thm in the game? Did the programers at Bioware have a certain number of items they had to put in game? :rolling:

    [​IMG] Sigh. Every 2 months someone ask this same question instead of using the search engine. I've probably replied about 5 times with the same thing by now. The empty potion bottles are used ONLY if you are a mage, get the Planar Sphere, and get one of the apprentices through graduation. After that, he'll make potions for you if you bring him those bottles and some extra stuff.

    No no and no. :p

    Your apprentice gives you different potions no matter what every week (or 5 days, I can't remember really...), and sometimes he gives you empty bottles.

    You don't need to bring him any empty bottle.

    But Tal, I really don't know if there is a use for those items in ToB. Right? :p
    Anyway, I *KNOW* noone actually looked thoroughly inside game files to check it up. And not just for bottles. But patience... ;) :evil:

    Hey, Extreme'I'm pretty sure Mekreths Mirror or whatever its called does have a use, I believe you must give it to the mage who has Hear'Dalis Charmed,I'm not sure though.

    Vigilante, The mirror is to be found and given to Mekrath, instead of killing him to get Haer'Dalis...

    And the Bottles were probably ment to be used for somethign, and that "something" wasnt included, or was cut and the bottles just werent cut out with it... Or thats what I think
