strongholds

I just wandered if you need to have a certain level to get a stronghold. I know you have to be a level 14 Druid to challenge the leader of the druid grove, but I wanna know if there is a minimum to other classes

 

Nope...Other than the Druid...The quest will just begin when you find the one for your class.

I won't say more unless you want me to spoil the fun...

 

actually, you get the druid grove stronghold after solving the trademeet/druid grove quest on any level, the challenge for 14th level is part of it...after other quests...

If you wanna know about the other strongholds, please post here...

 

i have not gotten a stronghold...

I am multiclass.. is that why... i am a fighter/mage... which one would be my stronghold?

 

I don't usually play multiclass or dual-classed characters, but I believe you get to choose... (Whichever quest you finish _first_ decides, I think)

you will get the one that you finish the quest for first, either the d'arnise hold or the planar sphere, though i believe if you have both quests going at once then you get both (thats a lot of responsibility) not sure if that's been fixed in a patch though...good luck

 

I play a dc fighter-mage again, however: You can get both strongholds - the fighter stronghold (De`Arnise keep) and the mages stronhold (Planar Sphere).
The only thing you´ll have to make shure is that you DO THE SPHERE FIRST (!) for otherwise you will not be ofered to get it.

I am a mage, so i guess that means that i get the planar sphere. But is there a reason that i can't get into the sphere? I mean, gees, I can't even use magic(yet).

 

There's also a guy in the Umar hills who will know how to enter...

 

To get a stronghold as a multi- or dual class it doesn't matter which quest you do first either D'Arnise or Valygars. It depends on who you turn down.

For instance if you are a Fighter/MAge and you want to own the Mage Stronghold, but you started with the D'Arnise quest already then that's no problem really.
After completing the D'Arnise quest tell Nalia that you don't want to take the roll of lord and the path to the Mage Stronghold is still open for you.

Duskai, you asked me if I wanted to know about the other stronghold and I became curious, so if you read this tell me about them.

 

well i think the best hold is the theives guild, I was getting around about 1 to 3000 gold every 5 days. it was brilliant. If i wasn't on a timed quest and i saw something i liked then i would sleep at a cheap lodging and go back to the guild (although i needed to repeat this for some time). Call it wahat u want but I called it easy money.

 

ok, no problem ...SPOILERS...


thief=thieves guild
*get to command thieves plus minor fighting and decision quests

mage/sorcerer=planar sphere
*help solamnic knights, raise apprentices and defend the right to use magic

fighter/monk=d'arnise hold
*keep the peasants happy by making the right decisions and fight for the castle

druid=druid grove
*help the grove spirit and eventually challenge to be great druid(level 14)

bard=theatre under the five flagons
*manage actors, production and eventually star in a show

cleric=temple(depends on alignment)
*give advice to people and eventually wage war or prevent it between temples

paladin=knight of the radiant heart
*fighting for good and justice and protecting people (boring stuff)

ranger=umar hills cabin
*more fighting for good, saving the land and people, keeping the peace...

...no wonder I haven't finished it yet, too busy switching jobs
