Mage Hooded Clothes

I really like mage clothes and was wondering if robes of Archmagi are the only robes with hooded appearances? I like the robe of Venca but i would still prefer a hooded robe that does more than just give minor bounuses like archmagi robes.

 

Nope, I think these are the only ones...dissapointing really, I'd like more choices in robes. BTW, don't you hate it when you kill some difficult mage and he has nothing on his body exept for a quarter staff, or maybe even nothing?

 

Yeah that's annoying, there are only a couple that have anything decent on their corpses. As for the robes I agree, I think you should be able to choose, that would be fun!

 

Grr yeah, take ur abilties to kill a mage and get a quarter staff, like the mages in the Slums Sphere...

Well, you can always use CLUA Console to give your mage the appearance of a hood.

Yes, Extremist is an expert with the cheat(that can be disputed out course, but that's what I like to call it) console, you can't fool him!

 

Lord Sarevok, that was a low kick and not nice.

I know a lot about the Console (which is cheat to those who cheat, but is in fact debugging issue), but I don't know everything about it. In this case, I don't know what command to issue to change the appearance of a robe. So I asked the man to post it.

 

Ctrl + 1, I think. Don't quote me on that.

 

Now now, that's not a console command but cheatkey combo.

 

If I play a human wizard, I always change his apperance to a monk(not the class, a monk, like what the cowled wizards look like). I like the way it looks a lot more...

 

I like the way in neverwinter nights how you will be able to customize it alot more. Once that's out we won't have these problems anymore .

 

Actually, he was right. I checked it out, and if you press control + 1 with dubug mode on it will cycle through all of the possible apperances, like leather, chain, plate, ect. For a Mage it probably would cycle through all of their robed apperances. This is cool, I'd really like to make a mage/thief look like a thief without wearing armor, like they did in BG1. I'll have to try it out on a Monk, I always hated the way they looked in their fleese jumpsuits!
