[IMG] I am running a Blade (bard Kit) and wonder why I can't dual him. I thought the rule was that you could not multi with a kit, but could dual-class a kit if it is the first class.

He is human and has sufficient stats for the class i want him to be...(fighter - str 18/89, con 17)

whats up? the dual choice is not highlighted.

[IMG] You can dual-class even with a kit for your first class, but you can't dual when the result isn't allowed for a multiclass character. That's the rule. You can't e.g. dual from/or to a Paladin, Bard, Sorcerer, Barbarian, Monk (Ranger I'm not sure) 'cause you won't be able to find e.g. a Paladin/Thief (Hell, good one!) as regular multiclass possibility.

Mmmm... Paladin/Thief sound interesting. Wonder how one would go about role-playing that one.

    How about,
    Bard/Monk - a singing, religious flirt
Barbarian/Mage - angry wizard run amuck
    :D
