    I am soloing through BG2: SoA and ToB with my monk. And I have come to the Demogorgon without problems, but I cant defeat it!
    My monk is in lvl 30, so I didnt excpect to have alot of troubles, but I just cant take it!
    Any tips that will help me defeat it?

    [​IMG] A solo monk defeating Demogorgon? I think that would count as some sort of record. I seriously doubt any solo character could defeat Demogorgon, no matter what level.

    I'd like to know how you got past Nalmissra and the final guardians with a solo monk?!

    Battle tips...
    Use Hardiness, it will allow you to ignore the summoned demons and concetrate on Demogorgan. Also, have some antidote potions with you since his attacks will poison and disease you. Implosion is probably the most deadly of his spells so cast a scroll of Protection from Fire beforehand. Don't use Whirlwind Attack, Demogorgan is scripted to automatically recast Stoneskin if he loses all stoneskins in < 10 seconds.

    I think you will have a very tough battle. Tell us if you manage to win.

    Well, after reading this, I attempted the feat myself, and it went surprisingly good. I did not lose, nor did I win. I quit. It went on for 18 minutes and I was surprised that it lasted that long. Why did I quit then? Well after approximately 17 minutes and 38 seconds I realised that I wasn't doing any damage to him :o. Now where can I find Khelben's Warding Whip?? ;)

    BTW, it was the Original Tougher Demogorgon.

    Hehe, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. However, I'm pretty sure he used a number of patches of (mostly) his own making to fix the game up. Like it or not, if you fix half the things in the game that way, you have an unfair advantage before other players who don't install any of his patches/fixes/hacks. Just a thought.

    I did a sorceror solo and kicked his arse! I just summon four mod swords, a planetar and whip him up and throw skull traps all over the place, and the swords are keeping them busy. Some horrid witlings, too.
