Hello all. Back in 2002 there was a news poster named Jeff Hagerl, who went by the names PinkGiraffe and Elementus, who died in an automobile accident in october of 2002. I didn't know much about him but the name PinkGiraffe always stuck with me. I was randomly surfing the net and came across something relating to pinkgiraffe, out of curiosity I clicked on it and it appeared to be a post that never made it on the site by someone calling themselves Purple Rhino, anyways I found it odd and interesting so I thought I'd share it

Jeff was an amazing person He inspired me so much. Around the time that he was posting I was going through some hard times in my life. His words gave me hope, maybe even a reason to keep going...
Like a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Since that fateful time, I haven't found much of anything that has touched me in such a way. I know that there never will be another Pinkgiraffe, in this world and this saddens me greatly, He was truly one of a kind, I can only hope that I meet up with him someday in the afterlife, I love you and Miss you Jeff,
    Purple Rhino

I'm kinda worried about this person, so if anyone has any info about Purple Rhino or remembers PinkGiraffe give me a reply,
    thanks

Man_who_sold_the_world, were you registered here with a different name in the past?

Since many people are probably wondering what this is about, check this old news comment page and this thread. Jeff was killed nearly 8 years ago...

Where did you come across this post by "Purple Rhino" exactly?

Yes, I was here with a different name. I was Zorloff.
It's odd, I found the post and copied and pasted it to my word pad, but I don't remember where I found it, I was drinking I admit but I can't believe I can't find it, I've been looking through my browsers history, but nothing yet. I'll let you know if I find it again.
