From the manual a conjurer can't not learn spells from opposition school, in this case is divination. So can he learn spells from other schools? The Ana's scorcher has no option for my conjurer to write.

Well, I just tried to write the "chant" spell( conjuration) and it also doesn't have write option. Hmm, something is wrong here. I wish I know what it is.

I recommend reading the HoW manual, opposing schools are changed if you install the expansion. Now the opposing school for conjurers is evocation.

I thought with HoW, the game more closely follows the real AD&D game, where Conjurors lose both Evocation AND Divination.

BTW, if you must Specialize, be an Illusionist. They rock the casbah bay-bee! :D

EDIT: If you're powergaming, and don't like multiclassed characters, play a Human Fighter until level 3, get *** in Bow then become a Mage.
