I do, and Age of Kings as well. I'm rubbish at them. I've had both for ages and have still to finish the Babylonian and Japanese campaigns from AOE and the Barabarossa Campaign from AOK.

[IMG] AOE was the first game I bought when I got my new PC - about 5 years ago ;) Great game. Also got Age of Kings a while back. Another good game. I think they're great, but my skill level doesn't seem to be that high - I still play on the lower difficulty levels :1eye:

I usually play a random map, but that's because I don't have the patience to go through an entire campaign. I like to mix things up, and play different cultures all the time. I also like the whole concept of 'building' my empire how I want to, and specialising my armies the way I like them, which can be hard with the campaigns.

I've played Age of Empires, Rise of Rome, Age of Kings and The Conquerors. Great strategy games all of them. I think I've completed most of the campaign for AoK, but none for TC (and none for AoE or RoR). You guys do know of Age of Mythology?

[IMG] I played age of empires round a friend and then bought age of kings the same day as him. I've played some great serial games but i can't usually be bothered to play on the internet. Great games all of them, can't wait for age of mythology :D

I agree Gnolyn. I like to make maps totally weird.

I didn't know about Age of Mythology. Does it look like it will be good?

[IMG] Wow - that looks pretty good. Almost a mixture of Black and White and Age of Empires. When I saw only 3 cultures I was a little disappointed, but then I read further. Looks like you'll be able to further customise each culture based on the gods you pick.

Great games! I got almost my whole floor into playing AOE at my dorm.

What's your favorite civilization? Mine's the Vikings, 'cause you get a bunch of free technologies, and their special units heal themselves and get bonuses against buildings.

In 98 i watched a friend play it for a while. I went straight out and bought it. Don't play it anymore but the time i spent with it was a very happy period.
