[IMG] I don't know if any of you guys have noticed, but every time that there's a 2-2 tie among Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and the guest judge, Simon's vote automatically carries more weight.

In the episode I just saw, Brandy (guest judge) and Paula Abdul voted yes and Randy voted no. When Simon voted no, that was that, no debating. However, when Randy and the guest judge (of a previous episode, might've been Kenny Loggins, don't remember) voted no and Paula voted yes, the moment Simon said yes, the person was in.

Here's my question: Does Simon's vote carry a 1.5 value as opposed to a 1 value vote from the other judges?

I don't really follow the show all that much (just the elimination rounds to laugh at the real shmucks :D ) so I'm just curious :)

bah! :p Anyways, I figure they defer to Simon because:

    1) All Randy Jackson can say is "Yeah! Yeah! Dawg!" or "Naw man, there was something missin'"

    2) All Paula Abdul can do is say yes.

'Tis a silliy show. I only watch it if there is absolutly nothing else on tv.

And the other night Paula got some shmuck in to the show by causing a scene, so it all depends I guess. :rolling:
