An Error With the Lower Dorn

    When I try to go to the Lower Dorn, the game saves and starts loading the area, but it pauses and a annoying popup saying:'An Assertion failed in Infinity.cpp at line number 1763
    Program says:Demand for WED file failed.' pops up. When i click ok, it closes the game and returns to desktop.

    I have WinXP and I have used DK and few custom items. No expansions. No patches, but I am going to download one, if i can. Now.

    HELP?

    EDIT:

    Dammit, the patch did not work.
