    Hey folks

    I A friend of mine pointed this guitar player out to me a while back



    His name is Andy McKee and he creates some absolutely incredible instrumental music. Personally, I find it to be incredibly meldodic and moving. Check out For My Father as well as it is my favourite :D . Hope you all enjoy it.

    Very nice. After the 45 second point (when the tempo picked up a bit), it took me a minute before I realized that what I thought was subdued background percussion was actually him tapping the guitar body.

    Good stuff. :)

    I really like his style. The half capo provides some interesting tonality as well. Very cool. (Although I thought the harmonic tapping at the end was just OK -- then again, I'm not a fan of tapping on an acoustic guitar, so take it for what it's worth.)

    Drifting - shows off some nice techniques



    He uses quite a lot of percussive guitar techniques in his playing, which a lot of acoutic players seem to be utilising these days. Some of his other pieces have a very different feel to them IMHO and I tend not to listen to them as much, but they are still very impressive

    Going a little off-topic here but this is another chap who uses Percussive guitar techniques named Justin King



    (BTW, I tried to use the youtube video code thingy but it just showed up as a white box, sorry)
