Annoying Ad Campaigns

    OK, there are some commercials and campaigns out there that I JUST FREAKING HATE! One example is the cat food ad that has the husband acting like a cat -- he actually defecates in the cat litter box in one commercial. I hate that whole campaign.

    Another one that made me swear off Doritos is the stupid thing with the Frenchman arguing with the Cowboy about which flavour of Dorito is the best. STUPID STUPID STUPID! As long as they air that campaign, I won't be purchasing their product.

    A final example -- the Mac and PC commercials with the PC guy looking like a Bill Gates goof and the Mac guy being the young, hip, and conciliatory bugger. IMHO badmouthing the competition is almost always a bad idea. I'd never buy a Mac as long as they aired that crap (though it did make good fodder for the pundits.)

    Anyone else have any pet peeve advertising campaigns?

    YES... the F'N Wendy's commercials on The Score!!! They air like 100000000000000000000 times during Blah and Crapdown... enough!!!! I know your F'N hamburgers aren't put in a warming tray (like I care), I know you've launched your F'N McFlurry ripoff!

    The new Subway ads... enough of those stupid mini-games, already!

    Tbh, I hate commercials in general and usually change the channel until they end, but the one that comes to mind right now is the idiotical commercial for Rama margarine that was broadcasted some time ago. It featured a family and some retarded jingle song... I hate that song.
