OK, another teacher having sex with a student. The article, which you can read here, states that in a one week period she had sex with him 28 times. All I can say to that is: DAMN! By my calculations, that's an average of four times per day, for a week straight. Not to be crude, but as a guy, I can certainly say that if you have sex 4 times on any day - never mind 4 times a day for a week straight, you start to run into some.... er..... performance problems. And this kids 13! Perhaps it's one of the benefits of youth - I wouldn't know as I wasn't having sex at the age, but still 28 seems like it almost has to be a gross exaggeration.

 

I know it is a horrible double standard and very anti-PC, but I still don't see how this is a crime. If I was 13, (heck even now at 39) I'd consider it a benefit. Although 28 times would probably kill me.

Those sort of relationships, with vast power differenials tend to have lasting psychological ramifications on the youth, regardless of sex, in those sorts of relationships. That woman's just as much a predator as any male teacher sleeping with a 13 year old girl.

 

I'm not sure in this case that the lasting psychological ramifications aren't positive instead of negative.

Having grown up in a household with a mother who has a Masters in psychology and is a licensed marriage and family counselor, I was bombarded by odd little bits of psychology. Couldn't really avoid picking up studies and facts up.

Any relationship in which there is a vast power differential is suppose to have a negative psychological impact and create odd beliefs about relationships.

 

Lighten up! The lady was a science teacher. It was probably just a project that got a little out of hand. And the alcohol was most likely just to preserve the specimens. (Twenty-eight times...WOW!!! These two have a great future in under-the-counter video.)

Oh, for crying out loud, I wonder if half of the people who will protest won't envy either the teacher or the kid... especially with this 28 times/week thing.

Well, whatever his stamina, she should be charged with with everything she was charged with... if you want to have sex with kids younger than you, at least wait till they're legal. And don't give them alcohol. Or let them drive your car. Dumbass. She had it coming.

 

@ Saber - you have a point - regardless of whether or not you think the boy will have psychological problems resulting from this, there were a lot of other things that this woman did that virtually everyone should find objectionable. To wit: I don't think anyone considers a 30-something and a 13 year old an "acceptable age difference", minors should not be given alcohol, and people under 16 shouldn't be driving. So yeah, there's a lot of other crap that this woman did that was blatantly irresponsible and illegal other than having sex with a 13 year old.

I was. While I don't know how old you are, I'm guessing that you're considerably younger than me. Come talk to me in your 30s about going four times and see if you're still where you are now.

Dancing with fresh-after-uni teachers and puffing up with pride when one was a teen was one thing, but that stuff is something completely different.

Still, one needs to bear in mind that teenage boys aren't exactly attracted to teenage girls look-wise. They realise it's a developing process leading them all to look like adults. So they will go out with teenage girls but they won't scout the net for teen porn but for plain old adult porn. Don't know how exactly it works for girls but look around -- they're all into boys bands etc. And often teenage girls fall for uni students and fresh graduates if not guys heading on towards 30.

Hmm... I suppose the above leads to the conclusion that it's far more normal for a teenager to be attracted to an adult than otherwise. Well, meaning a reasonably young adult, still. I think a 60 year old guy being attracted to a girl aged 20 is somewhat normal but the reverse isn't really.

 

Did anyone notice that many of these female teachers that have had sex with a student or two is generaly attractive (and blonde)?

 

If the woman is that attractive, what the hell is she doing with a 13 yearold?
