[IMG] What do you think of Eels? Have you ever heard of them? What is your favorite album? What is your favorite song? Do you have any albums? Tell anything.

My roomy has some albums of E and his band. I like it! I bought their album recently: Eels - with strings, live at Town Hall. I guess more will follow, but I have no space left to put my CDs.

Oh! And for the people who like to watcg Desperate Housewives: The tune of the series (the 'bells') is by Eels' "Flyswatter"

I'm not overly keen, but I do really like novacaine for the soul.

I love the album Beautiful Freak, the whole album is fantastic but is set up perfectly by the first 2 tracks, Novocaine for the soul, and Susan's House. It always lifts me when I have a little blue period.

Since when do the Eels have an album? Is this like that time the English soccer team made a song? Or Hoddle and Waddle?

Not a fan. I think they try way too hard. To me, they're the logical result of Nirvana and Blur getting together and having a baby, with about half the style and originality.

    But that's me.

Oh yeah. That's all I can say about Eels. That's some good music.

Nirvana and Blur? Wow... I er... didn't expect that coparrison. But hey, perhaps this live album I have is somewhat different to the others. They have been around for 10 years now, afterall. The music I can find on youtube actually is different to the album I have. The album I have seems to be more 'matured'. More like er... say, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan or so...

 Ok wait - just realized I'm an idiot.

I was thinking of The Vines, not The Eels. My bad. :o

Just bought some CD's. Man, some songs are simply brilliant, but some others are crabb. You just don't know what you can expect from Mr.E.
Sofar I got Live at Town Hall, Daisies of the Galaxy, Electro-Shock Blues, Souljacker and Beautiful Freak. But I entered the shop to listen to Shootenanny, but that one was out of stock. :D I think daisies and Beautiful Freak will become my favo's.

Oh, and Eels is not comparable with Eric Clapton. No idea why I said that.
