    Planescape: Torment.
Probably the greatest RPG ever in terms of dialogue, IMHO.

The problem with PS:T is that it is bloody well impossible to get.
Now why don't you try a nice game of POR2... *resists temptation to throttle self for been way too evil*

 Morrowind was not crap! Morrowind was a kick ass game. it had everything great graphics, storyline, and good gameplay. And there really isnt just one story line, you can do so many different things.

[IMG] What storyline? I have thrice tried to start a new game in Morrowind, but each time my interest has soon faded. It's very easy to "just wander" and forget the whole damn story and the reason why you're playing it.

Dungeon Siege is just hack'n'slash. Enough said.

Consider Might & Magic 7 -I found it entertaining. Then there are all those SNES classics (Tales of Phantasia, Chrono Trigger...) and a bit newer GBA ones (Golden Sun comes in mind). Playstation, of course, has many RPG's too, like Final Fantasy 7. Also, I have heard that Arcanum is rather good.

Wandering in Morrowind can be fun. Game is just so damn beatiful with x6 AA/ x16 AF on my ATi 9700. Aww, if only I had a bigger monitor that supported 1600 x 1200 :( . But graphics aside the game play is great. The only thing I don't like about the "you can be anything and everything" rule system is that it makes it less fun to make multiple characters with different themes. I usually end up making an all around character that is a demi-god by level 15. This takes some of the replayability out of it. The fact that NPCs do nothing but lumber around in a manor similar to the zombies in NWN can drive you a little nutty. The combat system could use an overhaul, but it basically serves it's purpose. I've easily played it 200+ hours and haven't even started the main quest, or downloaded any mods, makes it the best $27 bucks I've ever spent on a game.

I believe he said new games. Anyway, I would recommend Gothic 2. A nice game with good graphic and a decent storyline.

if you have xbox i would get azurik and bg dark alliance, both of them are first person hack n slash but are plenty of fun, for me at least, and i HIGHLY reccoment final fantasy 10, i wouldnt limit yourself to rpg's either, there are many good shooting games out there now, unreal tournament 2003 for one, ghost recon, splinter cell, halo etc.try out everquest if you want alot of rpg action, its $15 a month buts its a damn good game, every time i go back to visit my relatives me my uncle my cousin and my dad play it for hours
