Ascension Final battle, advice needed

    Ok, I've successfully made it to the last battle of the ascension mod without much of an issue along the way. I've gotten to the part with the 4 bhaal spawn, illasera, abaz, yaga, and sendai, and I can always manage to kill sendai, ill, and abaz with my full party. The trouble I'm having is killing yaga shura in a reasonable amount of time without letting melissan destroy my party during my attempt. I've tried the level draining technique with gram and the black blade of disaster but that has proven to be largely unsuccessful. My party is good, so I cannot turn bodi. Any suggestions, I've been thinking of doing a spell trigger to lower yaga's resistance, then having imoen ts, IA, and then bombing as many high damage spells on him as possible. I realize melissan will have free reign to hit my guys, but I'll try to set it up such that she'll take out aerie or jaheira. Will the spell route work on yaga?

    You can use Harm spell on him and then hit him with weapon or damaging spell like Magic Missile. He has no magic resistance.

    He also isn't immune to imprisonment. You do, however, need to take out the sendai before you do that. Otherwise, she'll just cast Freedom.

    From what I have been reading, Melissan also casts freedom. I tried the pierce magic and lower resistance stuff, but even with a horrid wilting he was only taking one damage. I've also tried level draining him, but I have not successfully drained a level from him yet as the probability of the effects working on the black blade of disaster and gram are too low.

    He has 99 resistance to slashing, piercing, crushing, missile, cold, electricity, acid and magic damage(damage from Magic Missile, Skull Trap and Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting), 127 to fire and 0 to magic. Casting Pierce Magic or Lower Resistance on Yaga-Shura is good for nothing.
