anyone know any sort of way to stop my game from constantly crashing because of conflicts between my driver and the game? I've stopped the Blue Screen of Death from happening, but so far I haven't been able to find a solution to the game simply crashing, there's no real warning either, often times my PC is just standing around when it happens.

I've heard disabling Shiny water effect in the video options is a common adjustment for ATI card users. I've played NwN on Geforce3, Radeon9100 and now on Geforce 6600GT and i've never had any real problems. Sometimes, but quite rarely, it simply crashes, no matter what i've been doing in it, so it seems unrelated as to what graphical card i have.

Probably the best solution is to download the Omega drivers for ATI cards. Kind of an alternative drivers. Now that i think about it, i always did use Omega.

    Hope these two things help.

Turn Shiny Water off and run NWN in windowed mode. Both should help considerably.

Shiny Water working on ATI cards was a bug, apparently.

do you know where on the ATI site I could find Omega drivers? They don't appear to be listed under Windows XP.

I'll do whatever it takes to keep the bells and whistles.
