Hi all, I just started playing BG2 again, I have the Expansion and latest patches for each game and My Stalker is Level 12, using Daystar, and Blade of Roses. I was expecting my attack number to be more than 3 though, because at level 18 I had 4 (And later on 5) I wanted to know if any of you guys have this problem of lower attacks than usual. Maybe its the patches ? I'm not sure so I sent this in because i'm really baffled by it. (Long Sword has two points on it )

The second weapon only adds 1 attack, unless stated differently in the weapons description. Just try taking the second weapon out of the shield slot and see how many attacks you have. I think they implemented that for game balance. No fighting style is really superior to any other in BGII.
Single weapon style recieves a huge boost when you spend proficiencies on them, while 2 weapon style is only reducing penalties. Sword shield style on the other hand is not even worth spending proficiencies on, might as well just put shield in other hand.
