Back in Black!

Discussion in 'BG2: Throne of Bhaal (Classic)' started by biggreenpriest, Jul 6, 2001.

  1. [IMG] Let the people rejoice, BGP has come from a 6 week fast from gaming and lo, God sent TOB from Amazon (bought through sorcerers.net!) yesterday.

The fast was broken by installing and continuing where I left off with my sorcerer and assassin/fighter: Fighting Kagaxx.

He kicked my butt. More specifically, he demi-machine-gun imprisoned my team before I could use my protection from magic scrolls or potions.

Unless there has been a thread already documenting this, what are the more critical changes (something more important than changing A.'s Scorcher) that have been made POST-TOB that alter gameplay? Things like remove magic actually effecting Domination.

One good book I read while away: Neil Postman's "Amusing Ourselves To Death." A very good warning to those of us who can make gaming more important than it should be.

I would modestly like to ask the mods to kick this thread through nearest portal into Throne of Bhall forums.

    *whine, whine*

  3. [IMG] It was tricky to know where to post, especially since I've been gone for a while. I wasn't asking for spoilers or even tips, but how BG2 was effected by TOB installation.

However, as a moderator of a very busy forum myself, I deeply appreciate the hard work of Darien and the rest of the gang. You've got to make some judgment calls.

No problem, BGP! I'm just trying to keep any and all references to the expansion out of the SoA forum. People have tendencies to go off on tangents and might have replied to your post with something inappropriate to that forum. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

    You're forgiven, of course. :D
