    hehe. I'm on the geek's side though. It's already been done, a number of times iirc, but the only one I'm sure of is in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" where an ageing Batman kicks the crap out of Superman.

    There's a strip of "FoxTrot" wherein the two brothers have a discussion on this same topic -- the issue isn't so much about who would win in a fight as much as who is "cooler" overall.

    I agree with the argument that Batman is -- when fighting the common criminal, a lucky shot can still ruin Bruce's day, while most of Superman's victories are like you or me crushing a fly -- there's no real challenge for the guy -- how much courage does it take to wade into a fight with someone who is 10000x weaker than you and really has no chance at all of even giving you a minor bruise?
