[IMG] I've played through BG 1 & 2 and the expansions and IWD and HOW and TOL and throughout all of them I was good guys, so I decided with this last one, I wanted to try being evil.

One thing I like is that in IWD you don't have a reputation, so no loss of points when you kill innocents, like I did.

When I got to the orc fortress where the villagers are being kept hostage, I went ahead and rescued them, because most of my party is LE and don't like orcs (we also got exp pts.), but then after taking care of the main band my CE 1/2 orc barbarian went back and slaughtered the peasants, who could not escape because they were penned in by barrels! LOL

The best part was that each one of them dropped ~10 gp when killed.

Anyone else trying an evil party? What things are you doing? I'm thinking about when I leave Targos to kill that little boy who runs you around town. BWA HA! HA!

I always play Evil parties first time through an RPG if possible. Guess that suits my style better :D However I don't really play the "evil and insane" type of character, more the "selfish evil" (ie. NE) type of character, and just do whatever benefits myself most.

I'd really like to hear how some of the other evil parties are doing out there.

IwD really didn't have all that much benefit for an evil party. There were a couple of weapons that were evil aligned only, but other than that, it didn't significantly alter the story.

How is IwD2 comming along? Anything different that you've noticed?

(obviously, you'll have to have gone through with a good party, or read the walkthrough, first)
