Best item(s) ever pickpocketed?

[IMG] I never liked thieves in D&D until I played BG. My next time around I'm going to play one(single, dual or multi) I don't know yet! This question is for item(s) from BG to ToB.

For the little pickpocketing that I do in BG, I prefer bards. Just my preference, mind. I've got to admit though, backstabbing is fun; I always thought of thieves as cruddy yet annoyingly necessary characters until I started experimenting with that :D . But I digress; erm ..... I never got any particularly wonderful items except the few that everyone gets (ie Ring of Regeneration etc.). I did do the cheesy thing of summoning the npc's to my pocket plane only to swipe their spanky new kit to get me a few more gold pieces, so I suppose the extent of that spree makes up for lack of outstanding finds.

[IMG] staling is great and cheap  well, at least in the BG series ;)

ring of wizardry, ring of gaxx, ring of ram, fieldplate, girdle of inertial barrier, tansheron's bow, blackblood +3, various weapons +2, studded leather +2, various spells for learning & xp, strength & int potions. That's it IIRC :D :p

You can also pick pocket the "tear of Bahl" form the Jeni in the abyss and get to keep both BLACK RAZOR (imho one of the best items in the entire game, I used it all through TOB as well), AND keep your alignment good if your character is already good!

Okay, I have to know: How the hell does one pickpocket field plate? Who keeps field plate in their pocket?

Thief: >bumps into fire giant< Ooh, pardon me, I tripped.

FG: No problem. >Ten minutes later< Heeyyy.. Why am I naked?

Yeah, you would have thought he would have realized that he wasn't invulnerable anymore before you fought him. Oh well I guess that's what you get when you are cocky :D.
