Okay, I have the 6 CD's for BG + totsc. I did the full install and it's asking me for the cd's still. It's also not letting me install Tutu, because it says that I didn't do a full install and I've uninstalled/installed twice!!

Anyone got a clue why this is happening?

    1) Even with a full install, you're still required to put a CD in for verification purposes. You can take it back out immediately after starting if desired, but it has to be in there to strart. That's my guess for the problem.

    2) For help with Tutu, you need to go to the Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal forum.

I know about the need for the CD at start, I'm talking about after I've started playing it required the other CD's.

    Thanks for the help though.

So you select Custom Install, then put a check in every box? The only other reason I can think of for it to require the CD's is if it had problems installing specific files, but it would have said so in the install.

Try to check out your Baldur.ini file and look up [ALIAS]. Whereto are your CD's directed? On a custom install it should direct the game to your folder so that it can read the CD's from there. Also, what install type does baldur.ini tell you that you have?

Iirc BG1 needs a custom install with ALL boxes checked for a true full install, and ToSC just wants a full install (I could quite easilly be wrong). As for Tutut, you should check up the BG2:ToB forum for additional answers.

    Cheers.

It worked now. I uninstalled and deleted everything with a BG in the name, then reinstalled BG1-ToB.

I guess it hadsomething to do with mods that were installed. Thanks for the help guys.
