Hiya. I searched through some threads but could not find an answer to my problem. Apologies if it exists somewhere (link? :p)

I recently purchased the BG 4 disc box set (BG, ToSC, BGII, ToB). Played ToSC completely. Installed Field of the Dead. Started again with same characters. Finished it. So time to move on to BGII. Full install.

However the text won't display on in-game buttons (see attached). Played with the graphics options on Config. Nothing worked. Completely uninstalled and removed all folders. Re-installed all four disks *sigh*. But I still have the same problem. Anyone know how to fix this.

And if it's a graphics card problem please don't just say, 'It's a graphics card problem.' Perhaps offer a solution or at least, 'I'm afraid it's just not going to work...'

    Thanks heaps in advance.

Can't help you with your problem unfortunately, but please upload screenshots to your albums instead of uploading them as archived attachments. This should actually be disabled for non-DC forums, so once I fix the oversight I'll remove them.

Here we go again. Just like old times :)
Welcome to the boards Rockbadger. Glad you chose us to lean to!

    1)
    Option Menu

    2)
    go to Graphics

    3)
    there toggle "Software Standard BLT"

hope it helps. Its definately a texture problem /GFX problem. not a mod or install issue.
Bioware once had a GFX fix tool, which is linked to on this site. But Alas they don't support it anymore.
