I've always loved starting from the begining and going through everything to get to the end. I simply can't do it with this series. I've gone 2/3 of the way through BG1 and BG2 but new games keep coming out and pulling me away.I used to finish a game and then get a new one. I can't do it anymore there's to many good games out there.I must play them all but how can I create the time to finish them. Right now I have partial games of BG1,BG2,Kohan,MajestyX,Evil Islands, Emperor :Dune, Warlords Battlecry, Wizards and Warriors, Age of Wonders,M&M 7,Kingdom under Fire, and ToB and the Diablo 2 expansion are sitting on my desk staring at me.Does anyone else have this problem? If you did, how did you solve it? Did you clone yourself? I even started purchasing hint books to speed up the process of completing games. What's a gamer to do? Damn, Arcanum supposed to be out in August sometime. Football starts next month. Aarrgghhhhh. No time. No time.

This isn't real life, even though it takes up a lot of real life time. Because it's not real life, I am allowed to play the field ;)... I usually get a game within 3 weeks of its arrival to the shelf. I know that places like Best Buy invariably have specials on the new games. Since, I know I'm going to buy it anyway I may as well save the extra 5-15 bucks. Games now are bigger, better(for the most part), and longer than what they were in the past.Thats natural as technology gets better. The problem I have shown is that I used to be able to finish games before another good one came out but now there are more better games coming out faster than I can finish the previous ones.I must also note that I try in every game to do everything possible in the story.I don't wish to cut back on that because I don't wish to miss anything and I'm also greedy as hell.Must I quit the job and lose the girl to do it all now? I was just wondering if anyone else is in this predicament?Could we make a plea to the makers to get together and release games at certain intervals so we can enjoy them all?

You know... they can't do that... because some people will find the Command & Conquer series insulting but the Fallout series damn interesting...

just imagine if the companies actually scheduled their releases in a way like, BG1, Fallout, Red Alert, Dark Reign, KKND, AOE, etc etc etc and on and on and then they release SoA... do you know what a dryspell it would be for us D&D RPG players?

anyway.. does this topic even belong here?

Holy crap, Slackertoast! I admire your ability to multi-task if not your attention span. :) If you estimate those games at $25 each, I'm calculating about $325 in partly used games there. Any plans to maybe slow down and enjoy one of them?

I am attempting to go through the BG series right now. Hopefully I won't break down and load the Diablo 2 exp.It just keeps staring at me though...

After reading the FAQ, this topic should probably be in the 'Whatnots' area.My bad.
