Black & Red Thieves (& Mar)....

    What a great game! However I inadvertantly killed one of the three black and red thieves outside the Smouledering Corpse bar when he jumped into another attack. This was before I received the quest. Now his two buddies are no longer there. Can I find them somewhere or are they just gone? (The one I killed didn't have the necklace.)

    Mar also seems to have taken off somewhere, and I'd like to report to him about his box. Anyone know where he is?

    The thugs should be there on the same area as hostile characters. If you can't find them they are probably gone permanently for some reason. Mar can be found simply by following the track of lim lim corpses on the same area you originally met him.

    Found Mar; thanks, Morgoroth. The thieves do indeed appear to be gone; not the first quest I've lost.

    EDIT: The Black and Red Thieves don't go away, if you accidentally kill one of them, but they do lose their label. Talk to all the thugs in this quarter and they'll identify themselves.

    *SPOILER*--Even if you follow the trail of dead lim-lims, Mar is next to invisible, at the extreme edge of your mouse. Very difficult to detect, but he's there.
