Has anyone played this game before? And what do you think of it?

I was actually quite surprised that AD&D tried to release a Warcraft-style strategy game. It was very very slow... has anyone played it to the end?

I played it some time ago (maybe five years :) ) and it already wasn't the newest game than...
But I quiet liked it,and I've done the campain, too. But at the end you have only some fights without a story, and it got boring (and really hard :( )

Yes, I got bored by the slow speed... I managed to get to the last stage, but those Guardians were too tough. I think I only beat the last stage by cheating. :(

My advice: Wraiths and paladins. This lets you keep your army size small, so you don't need to waste resources building up a huge army. Orcs and Harpies are very good too, but they're limited to certain realms only. Stone Golem and Gnomes also make a good combo, especially early on when you haven't researched wraiths yet.

Yek! That game is so slow that you can fall asleep before the golems sentry themself. I bought the third archives silver edition pack where you got BG1 demo,(have full so I didn't need it) Blood & Magic,(stopped playing because it was soooo slow) Menzoberranzan(doesn't work with creating characters so I haven't played so much of it) and Dungeon Hack(great game, bad story but who cares;))
