installed this old favourite game again.
but one issue has occured when loading an area outside from the frost salamander area.

It think it is where the slaves are hiding but not sure anyway 9 times now it has crashed.hung when trying to load that area as you enter the cave.

Ihad installed 1.41 patch before we starting playing with my son. But its really annoying :[

Still a fantastic game like all of the series and Jeremy soule himself said its some of hsi best music. So any help is appreciated.

    v1.41 is Heart of Winter.

v1.42 is Trials of the Luremaster.

No reason not to upgrade to TotL, mate. ;)

Frost salamanders don't exist down in the depths of Dorn's Deep. They exist in the Wormtooth Glacier. It's strange that your game crashes at that spot, because I don't remember ever reading an issue like that. I've read about crashes when entering the deep-gnome refugee camp (after fighting umber hulks), but never the glacier.

    I'm thinking a re-install, and that you've picked up a savegame bug.
