Brain Golems in Ilithid City

    Just wondering. I just finished the Ilithid City in the Underdark for the I don't know how manyeth time. I noticed each and every time I find myself (after taking care of the big brain) running for the exit chased by those BrainGolems. I can't seem to hurt them in any way. (Or well, my solo F/M/T didn't have anything on him to touch them with. But I seem to recall previous parties couldn't either.)

    So with what can you hurt them?

    I never had too many problems using blunt weapons +3 ... like the skullcrusher mace and the flail of the ages. Trust me, works wonders ;)

    Just cast a Fireelemental (priest version, not the mage version), or an Areial Servant, they can kill them in about 30 secs (5 rounds)...

    Thanx, I will try that. I tried blunts, but the best I carried with me this time was a Warhammer +1 :rolleyes: :grin:

    Celestial Fury is the most awesome weapon in the game, just a shame that it can't be upgraded by Cespenar. What did you say? Would it become too powerful then? Hmmm maybe, but then again...
