[IMG] My main character is a 27th level Assassin.

I'm having trouble that started in watcher's keep. I click on an object, the "detect traps" or "hide in shadows" or anything, and it unselects the object in about 1 second.

When this happens, if you select a place to walk to, about 1 second after you click your green crosshair, that crosshair disappears and your character stops walking.

Then, without warning, it will go back to normal. Then go back the other way.

This is happening rather often. I wonder if some of my equipment (perhaps the regenerating ion stone?) is causing it?

    Anyone else having this problem?

I would think that something has happened to your main execution file. I can't imagine that it has any relation to anything you are wearing or carrying...

What to do? Well, I guess that if it were my game, I would copy the save game folders/files off to a new directory, unistall/reinstall the game and copy the save game files and folders back to the appropriate locations.

There are known issues with some programs like Norton WinDoctor that can cause some strange symptoms - yours might be one of those.

    Good luck.

Yes, I would reinstall the game. That's the only thing I can think of.
