    The Paradox has a steam key as do others but GOG has a DRM free version. Which is better?

    That depends on you. If you already use Steam, then I see no reason not to continue using it. If you have something against Steam, then go for GOG.

    If you're concerned about getting patches timely, Steam is generally several days ahead of GoG for that purpose.

    The delay between the Steam patch and the GOG patch was a bit annoying but, it's a small price to pay to not use Steam.

    They wanted opinions :p. Objectively speaking, the physical copies that get sent out will be the best if there aren't any problems with patches.

    I also saw a comment that Obsidian is working on making a direct download option from them available, so that should allow GoG users to get patches sooner.

    This is be needed for backers who got the physical non-DRM version.
