Cannot initiate dialogue

    Hi everyone, Having played thro BG2 several times i decided to give some of the mods a go. The main ones are the "ease of use" and "tactics", although i have added a few others as well.
    Since leaving Irenicas's dungeon i have noticed that i cannot always iniate conversation with some NPCs. It is really annoying as this is preventing me from advancing in the game. For example i missed out on the XP reward for collecting the key (sword) to release Aerie. The only way round it seems to be continually reloading until the character isnt too busy to talk. Any ideas why this is happening?

    Usually this is an issue with not installing the patches on the ToB game; you would need to do that before installing the mods. Do you have the ToB patch installed?

    (By the way, does anyone have the DVD compilation set, and can they report if it comes "pre-patched"?)

    i dont have the dvd pack, and i dont think it comes pre-patched. simply because it would be weird

    Hmm, dont think i did for ToB. im guessing i can find it at sorcerers somewhere. i'll have a look for it. Would i have to uninstall all the mods before i put the patch on?
