I just got this game and so far its pretty cool...but I need to know how to change the resolution from 640*480. As I understand it this is the only resolution the game supports...but isnt there any hack that will let me use 1024x768 or 1280*800 resolution?

    nope, nix, nada.

    its 640*480 or nothing.

Tempting to request a sticky about this very single question.

If you want higher resolution then look into making something similar to BG1tutu (yes as in make it yourself!), or help the GrmRB project, they are working on a fanmane engine that is aimed at beeing able to play all the Infinity engine games with same engine, with all options etc available from all of them. And no it is not finished, and far from completion afaik.
