    I thought in the post Tucson age we were supposed to be nicer and keep the rhetoric to a minimum. I guess that didn't last long :)

    Similar comments were made on the site that T2Bruno linked to. People can argue about degree and intensity all they wish, but the fact remains that neither side can really claim the moral high ground when it comes to overheated rhetoric.

    Yea, and guns don't kill people. Bullets do! Or was it people? Or maybe gunpowder? What were we talking about again?

    (For the record, the above has nothing to do with guns and everything with how you can obfuscate any issue by passing guilt around to the point that nobody is guilty of anything because everyone is guilty of something. Just in case it wasn't obvious. "Let He Who Is Without Sin..." requires divine intervention to be acceptable. It's not a card that can be pulled whenever convenient.)

    Little known fact - 9 out of 10 doctors cite Republicanism as the #1 cause of heart disease. And although the source is from a neurological surgeon, I think it is still relevant:

    Personally, I feel it's more of an 'all or nothing' kind of statement. It doesn't require divine intervention per se, but if not, it's always in effect. Still not a 'card' to be 'pulled' whenever convenient, though.

    Just to be clear, the studies say it isn't actually Republicanism that causes heart disease. It's speaking English.:
    1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart
    attacks than Americans.
    2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart
    attacks than Americans.
    3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer
    heart attacks than Americans.
    4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer
    heart attacks than Americans.
    5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of
    sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than
    Americans.

    CONCLUSION
    Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is
    apparently what kills you.
    The rest of the site is good advice, too.
