[IMG] Chloe was dumped from my party to make slot for Sarevok once I entered Pocket Plane for the first time. She stayed in the Pocket plane thus far, but now I can not recruit her back to the party.

She recognises Imoen (they grew quite close, you know, wink wink :p ) and greets her:'It is good to see you again, Imoen, how are you?' when I click continue, dialogue ends abruptly.

When I kill or dump Imoen, this time Chloe won't even talk to me:she has nothing to say. Weird.

I guess this is a mod conflict (no suprise thanks to my ever-growing number of mods), but have you experienced this problem, or is there a quick fix? I fear there were some pretty spiffy items left on Chloe and I want those things back before the big bad Ascension fight, I do not want her company now though as I have CG Sarevok with Volcano blade!(Chloe does not have ToB component anyway AFAIK) so I will have to kill her and loot her corpse? :( NO way, she helped me tremendously in the big SoA final showdown against Improved Irenicus and his fragments. I can always CTRL+Q her, but that is cheating and is saved as a last result.

    So, any ideas?

Have you attempted downing a potion of master thievery and picking the heck out of her pockets? That's generally what I do when someone has something of mine, especially if I don't feel like listening to the whining when I try to temporarily dump someone in order to get my stuff back. It sounds a little convoluted, but it may be the best solution if you don't want to kill her. Just make sure to save beforehand.

Now that's first piece of wisdom I have heard from some time. Thank you!

Then again, what should I do to get equipped items from her? Like that spiffy Ioun Stone! :p

^Ack, well, if it is the only way...sad thing about Chloe mod though. Maybe it is buggy as it does not have ToB content normally? Never tried to dump her in SoA though.

If she doesn't have ToB content, that would likely be precisely why she has nothing to say. When moving from SoA to ToB, every NPC gets their dialogue and banter files switched to a ToB version. If Chloe doesn't have one...I don't know exactly what it'd do, but it looks from this example like it just removes the SoA files and, not finding any ToB files, just leaves them empty. In the meantime, CTRL+Q may be a cheat, but it's not doing anything more than you would do anyway had you the option; I don't see any reason not to use it.

Right-it may be a cheat, but if you've exhausted every other possibility, and it's due to something you can't fix (like having a character with no ToB content) then it's completely allowed, in my opinion.

Thanks Felinoid, I had no idea that in ToB, all characters use only ToB dialgue files, I too believe this is the cause. So there is NO mod conflict-bug- or other ugly things in my game, eh? Rejoice! My game is once again proven to be bug-free!

I think I will CTRL+Q her, strip her bare (she can have her own godly swords, no one can use them anyway) and dump her. As bastardly as it sounds. :p I really need those shiny ones! :shake:
