With Christmas almost here I feel the need to post some of my favorite holiday songs. Enjoy.

My all time favorite is Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses. Including this song they were a two hit wonder. Sadly the lead singer was a heavy smoker and died early of lung cancer.

Another favorite of mine probably isn't really in the Christmas spirit, but I have always gotten pumped up to hear it. I give you "Father Christmas" by the Kinks. As an aside, it bothers me how little today's youth know about the Kinks.

What would the holiday's be without a little old school rap. I give you "Christmas in Hollis" by RUN DMC

For a novelty song, in my opinion nothing beats "The 12 pains of Christmas" by the legend Bob Rivers.

I'm Jewish, so by law I'm required to throw in Adam Sandler's "Hanukkah Song" in any holiday song list.

While I'm not a big fan of this one, I've been instructed to include it. Take it away Boss.

My rabbi just called and said I need another Hanukkah song.

Oh what the hell, here's another South Park one.

Now to end this with something classy. I give you "Christmas in Sarajevo" by the Trans Siberian Orchestra. This one is also a great video although, I'm glad I don't live next door to them.

Feel free to add your own to the thread.

    New Year's Song

I'm too late for the Christmas songs, but here is a favorite of mine for New Year's. I hope you enjoy it.

AMV - End and Beginning, song "Better Days" by the Goo Goo Dolls

Sorry I couldn't figure out how to do the preview.
