Have any of you guys seen this movie yet? I saw it a couple of days ago and I thought it was awesome, Vin Diesel just kicked ass. I'm definately going to see it again. Post your thoughts on it.

I saw Pitch Black and liked it so will definitely see the Chronicles of Riddick when it comes out here. I know it has bugger all to do with Pitch Black, but Riddick is still one of my favourite sci-fi characters. Should be good.

The Chronicles of Riddick is a sequel of Pitch Black. I really enjoyed both films. The effects were great in Riddick, especially Crematoria's sunrise.

Yes, the only thing that Chronicles has to do with Pitch Black was Kira, the girl that Riddick saved, but people who've never seen it will still catch up to it in Chronilces.

Actually, the "Holy Man" (the black guy) that Riddick visited was also from Pitch Black. And how Kyra got into jail was because of what Riddick told her in Pitch Black.

Haven't seen it yet, don't think it's even been released here yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. Does anyone know what the proposed third instalment will cover? Like, will it be a prequel or sequel?

Icingdeath, I really have to question your taste in movies, or at least what constitutes a "good" movie to you. You say both this and I, Robot were horrible, and you're really the only person I've seen who said that about either. No one I know has said less than an "it's was alright" about either. I loved I, Robot, and have yet to see Chronicles. My friends who've seen it say that it's at least worth renting, and they're even more anal than I am when it comes to movie criticism (which, really, is quite a feat).

The general reaction I have heard so far for Chronicles of Riddick is lukewarm at best so I'm not expecting very much from it.

It was a delightfully B-scifi, and I loved it when i saw it. After all, it's got Karl Urban, so what's not to like? Well, okay. possibly his hair-do, but still.

I enjoyed it wholeheartedly, even if it could be said to be... less than brilliant.

Enjoyable, but not good. Make any sense?
