I've recently been playing through some old-school console RPGs via ROMs on my PC. Shining Force I & II, Warsong, Final Fantasy 1-4 and the Phantsy Star series. All good stuff.

Can aynone recommend other good old-school Console RPGs they have tried and enjoyed?

The original Tales of Phantasia. The first "Tales" JRPG and still the best one imo.

Those blasphemous consoles. As a PC purist I shudder at the thought.

I remember something about Baldurs gate, Dark alliance.

    Never played any console games.

I still play Might & Magic 2 on my Sega Genesis on occasion - and I have it installed on my computer at work as well.

Wait, no, I don't play games at work...
