Creating your own sound sets for BG2 and IWD

    [​IMG] I've tried it before, but when I've tried to use them, the game won't play them. Any idea how to make your own, or if they have to be created in a specific way?

    Please let me know...

    [​IMG] BTA - How can I tell whether or not my WAV sound file is recorded at 22kHz and 16-bit mono? Maybe that's the problem...Because I made them exactly how the guide explains it in the manual.

    Any ideas?

    Normally there's a setting on your sound editing software to choose mono/stereo and the sampling rate when you record. If it's already recorded, it will normally indicate the settings.

    Maybe you should tell us what software you're using and anyone who's used it can fill you in...

    I created my set using windows' basic sound recorder program (start/programs/accessories/entertainment) and a cheap microphone. After recording the file and selecting save, there is an option at the bottom to change the format. You can use this to set it to what BG asks for.
