Crystal golem

In the glacier level there is a cristal golem, my party is 7 and 8 level, i started attacking him and after killing almost all my characters he is still uninjured, what i am supposed to do about him?

I just downed this guy tonight. Blunt weapons are the key. You should have all sorts of nifty sling bullets. Have your weaker melee party members use them. Have your stronger party members wield blunt weapons in melee. Don't be afriad to use potions. If you skimp on potions, you will more than likely have to raise dead, and that's no fun.

Don't forget spiritual hammer if you need it. Or decastave (combined with at least a mirror image .)

I imagine the fight would have been much harder without my monk, but still not impossible.

 

Those golems can only that damage from blunt weapons. One or two strong fighters with hammers tend to put them down quickly. As Big B said, those sling bullets the Aurilites like to leave behind work nicely as well...

 

Arrows with extra bludgeoning damage (impact arrows, if i remember correctly) deal +20 dmg to those golems. I dont know why, though.

 

Most likely because of the bludgeoning damage.

 

Those golems were a pain in the ass....the only blunt weapon I had were those arrows, so all my other party members acted as fodder, really, while my bowman took 'em out...slowly.
