[IMG] I am going nuts trying to figure out how to use custom portraits for IWD2. I read the readme, all it says is to make sure the pictures are the right size, and to put them in the portrait directory (in the installation directory for the game), where are those directories?? I've looked and looked and cant seem to find them.. Can some one shed some light on this, please & thank you.

You need to make the directory if it doesn't exist yet. All portraits in the game are in sort of a database, so there's no need for them to make the portraits directory during installation. Once you have it, put the pictures in there and you'll be fine.

Chev is right. Once you've created the directory, so long as the pics are the right size they'll all show up when you push the custom button at character creation time.

You need to create a folder named 'Portraits' in your main IWD II folder. Custom portraits go here.

They have to be BMP files. The larger image is 210x330 pixels while the smaller should be 42x42 pixels.
