Damn Multiplayer games stealing my items

Ok, you know when you get that satsifaction from completing the game, with your now super character, with his/her super items collected throughout the game. Well if you don't then i suggest you get there quick, cause its sweet.

Anyway i have had this stolen from me, many a time now from servers. You enter their game looking to battle some high lvl monsters or duel other players. You look at your charcter to see him nothing but his underwear. You look in your inventory to find nothing but the starting weapons (short sword, torch and few potions). So you think oh it don't matter this character has already been saved in local saves. You leave the game and go enter another loading up your character only to find he/she still don't have any items. And then you realize what happened, the game took your items, stole your money (forgot to mention this) and overwrite your character for you.

Thanks a bunch. This is just a total flame nothing else. By the way has this happened to anyone else?, cause the only solution i could find is making you own small mod and putting your items back there.

 

I'd suggest making a little mod and putting some custom items that fit your character in there. You can then have your own unique look when you play online. That, or make multiple copies of the saved character you want to use online. One thing however. Are you sure they overwrote your character, or just made a new charcter save with your character stripped of everything? I didn't think overwriting a save was possible...always thought the game made a new character save file with the next number down the list. I'm amazed servers that let you use local vault characters would bother stripping your items at all.
