    You get mini-quests (several) about once per week from now on. They are activated one week from when you did the last one, so it's not like you can leave for two months, come back, and then do all the quests. I recommend stopping in somewhat frequently. The first one you get is one week after acquiring the keep.

    You get 500GP every week.
    However if you are a good guy then you will find yourself spending that money on those mini quests. Atleast initially.
    But the quests get better later on.

    I never got any benefit out of that stronghold really.

    The Ranger one was better.

    By Ranger one, (s)he means the Ranger stronghold. What you may or may not realize is that the De'Arnise keep is under your control because it is your Stronghold, your special "base" that you have access to as a Fighter (or fighter kit / multiclass etc). Clerics, Mages, Thieves, Paladins, Fighters, Druids, Rangers, and Bards all have different Strongholds (with Monk falling under Cleric, Sorcerer under Mage, and Barbarian under Fighter), so there are in fact 8 different possible Strongholds, but you may only obtain one as your character. I think that sums it up.

    Oh...and the Paladin stronghold is far better than the Ranger one =P

    He; thank you.

    The child of Bhall gets a stronghold depending on his/her class.
    DeArnise Keep is the stronghold for the fighter pool, which IIRC includes fighters (including kits), barbarians and monks.

    When multi- or dual- classed, you have the option to choose which class stronghold you want. However since you are allowed to have only 1 stronghold, you must choose which quest to do first.

    @Zenastin
    The Paladin stronghold has nothing to offer when compared to the lion figurine and +1rep :p

    Shrikant's explanation is better than mine. Hooray. /lame attempt to offset the following off-topicness

    Nooo, the Paladin quest nets Carsomyr (well, in a WAY...hahaha), and the Pride of the Legion! Nice suit of armor, that. And, ah...the Ranger quest yields a Dog figurine, Cerebus... (or is that a ToB change?)

    Basically head back to the castle everytime you get the message "Money has been placed in your keep" and you'll be alright.
