[IMG] I was promised a manual in this Diamond edition of NWN and ain't found it. I've found the original that shipped with game and a couple online ones for the expansions. Is there actually a PDF manual or were they lying to me?

    On mine, it's in:

D:/data/windows_data/docs -- for the main NWN manual

    D:/data/XP1/docs -- for SOU manual

    D:/data/XP2/docs -- for Hordes manual

Yours should be the same, as I have Diamond Edition as well

I feel cheated. :( Those were the ones I found. I thought they might have, you know, put it all together or something.

Diamond is just what the compilation is called. It's really just the original game and the expansions bundled together.

You would expect some kind of documentation on the premium modules as well though, since they do come with the game, but are not or very little documented.

i guess it's worth it if you don't own NWN, just so you have the premium modules too, but other then that it kind of feels like a stunt to try and sell just a few more copies of NWN.

I also had the Diamond Edition and it did came with a PDF version of NWN's manual. The installation even prompts me if I want to install it, and I had it installed.

As others have mentioned...the Diamond edition is the compilation of the original NWN game plus the two expansion packs, with the premium modules thrown in for those who are too lazy to buy them online.

However...this does NOT mean it is something like an ENHANCED version of NWN...its still the same, and IMO you save a lot buying the diamond edition than you would buying everything separately...so yeah...that's value right there! Plus its INCREDIBLY convenient to install all of it from one DVD as opposed to 3 (OC) + 2 (OC) + 2 (not sure, might be one, HOTU)...
