    [IMG] Hello there!

After a few years of rest upon my shelf, I decided to give my good old BG2: SoA+ToB (Best game ever) a try again. After playing a few quests, claiming the Keep, ridding the world of the Unseeing Eye, etc, I quickly found how much I still love that game.

Then, unfortunately, I installed the latest patch from BioWare, mainly to get rid of that annoying "Xyz is busy...". While improving the game in a most pleasing way, this obviously also had the effect of resetting my map, meaning the De'Arnise Keep, Umar Hills, Temple Ruins and Windspear Hills have disappeared, leaving me without a way of getting there - although the relevant quests are still in my Journal (eg Lord Jierdan's request).

Is there any way to bring back these locations? Maybe some way of changing savegame variables via ShadowKeep or something like it?

As I already played my monk to lvl 13 and gathering a quite unique inventory for my group (let alone my group), I would not like to start it all over again; therefore, any help would be graetly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Cyric

Your best bet would be to start over (patching in the middle of a game is specifically mentioned to cause problems), but if you're determined you might try cheating your way to the areas and then leaving them normally. That may or may not add the areas to your map, but it would certainly be worth a try. The info on cheating can be found here, along with the appropriate cheat codes.

One important change, though. Since you've already liberated de'Arnise Keep, you'll want to go to AR1304 rather than AR1300; they change areas when you liberate the keep, so if you go to 1300 you'll find a lot of stuff missing.
